It started off with an Igloo and developed into the ICEHOTEL with guest visiting from all over the world. If it is possible to build a hotel of ice in a small village 200km inside the Arctic Circle, which strikes the whole world with amazement, then anything is possible. Having a wedding in a venue like this is indeed a fairy tale come true and we made it there to film Richard and Millie.
Richard and Millie are a delightful couple who clearly wanted to break the mould of ‘a normal wedding’, by braving the cold to get married at the ice hotel. They not only achieved this but also gained a once in a lifetime experience. We where delighted when Richard and Millie picked us to capture their wedding, filming conditions where challenging in places but we where spoilt by the beauty of this location. The temperature was about -25 degrees C, which was warm compared the the previous week when it had been as low as -40 degrees C.
