New media explosion

It’s only been a few months since the birth of Colour Burn and the reaction has been phenomenal. We’d like to thank everyone who contacted us with both inquiries and fantastic comments on the site.

We’re currently finishing a production for upholstery and fabric designers Romo, who commissioned us to produce a short film documenting their recent honors and awards from The Queen!

With a rather nice list of exciting projects in the pipeline, we’ve got a feeling Colour Burn could be popping up in some very unexpected places.

We are proud to announce the Launch of Colour Burn, a creative new digital media agency.

Over the last 5 years, Reel Sixty has been growing is size and direction.Naturally we have taken on more commercial work as well as the wedding we film which up until now has been under the Reel Sixty unbrella. As of this month all commercial work will be done by Colour Burn.

Reel Sixty @ The Designer Wedding Show [15/02/08 - 17/02/08]

Reel Sixty will be exhibiting at The Designer Wedding Show this year, taking place in Battersea Park, London on Fiday15th – Sunday 17th February 2008. Check out their website at www.designerweddingshow.co.uk.

This is our second year at the show and we are really looking forward to it. For those of you who don’t know, we specialise in the use of super 8 cine film and are pioneering a new and refreshing style of wedding video. This exhibition gives us the chance to show case our Super 8 wedding films.

Come visit us at stand no.210 and see for yourself what makes Reel Sixty unique, stay for a chat and pick up one of our new 2008 show reel DVD and information packs.

We also have 5 complimentary tickets for The Designer Show up for grabs. These will be given away to the first 5 people to email in to us.

2007 has been an eventful year for us at Reel Sixty, we have filmed some fantastic events and weddings. In doing so we have consumed over 11 thousand foot of super 8 cine film.

I am really passionate about using cine film to give people a proper alternative to ‘cheesy wedding videos’, it makes me happy to be playing a small part in keeping the super 8 format alive.

2008 is going to be a great year, we are all fired up and praying for good weather and calm brides.We will also be exhibiting at the Designer Wedding Show in February so if you have a booking with us, please do come say hello.
